The Sales & Customer Support Specialist will be responsible to take incoming calls, emails, and online messaging correspondence, both from existing customers and new buyers. The position’s objective is to provide outstanding customer support through the buying and fulfillment process resulting in a winning transaction, both for the buyer and BTG. Success in this position will be achieved by utilizing strong listening & communication skills to ask and answer questions in a manner to advance the sales process, applying tactful negotiation skills to close quotes for pricing and fulfillment, effectively communicating order needs and deadlines to internal BTG teammates, and an aptitude to learn new techniques, strategies & tools that will support your position and grow your responsibilities.

Computer Server Hardware Technician

This technician will be testing/repairing/building a wide variety of servers and related equipment. They’ll be building & refurbishing pre-owned servers from major manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Sun, and more. This includes fully testing the server, wiping any data, installing hard drives/memory/cpus, configuring raid arrays, and installing additional components to make each server fully functional and ready for use. This technician will need actual work experience showing the repair, testing, or configuring of servers and related equipment. This position will require the ability to lift heavy objects such as servers repetitively. The majority of the pre-owned servers will be older than 4 years. In addition to server work, this technician will also build/repair/test/image desktop and laptop computers.

Printer Repair Technician

This technician will be testing/repairing/cleaning a wide variety of printers and related equipment. They’ll be primarily refurbishing pre-owned commercial grade laser printers from Dell, HP, and more. This includes fully testing the printer, cleaning the internal components, replacing any worn or defective parts, wiping any data, and adding any components needed to complete the printer. This technician will need actual work experience showing the repair, testing, or configuring of printers and related equipment. This position will require the ability to lift heavy objects such as printers repetitively. The majority of the pre-owned printers will be older than 4 years. Shipping/Receiving Specialist

The Shipping/Receiving Specialist will focus on packaging a wide variety of electronics ranging from very small in size to very large. Shipments will be sent through UPS, USPS, DHL, and/or freight depending on their size and quantity. You’ll be using ShipStation.com to process orders and print labels. Each item will need a final cleaning and must be securely packaged in a box. This specialist will ideally have experience using a variety of carriers such as UPS, be familiar with multiple packing methods, have inventory experience, be able to lift heavy items repetitively, and be able to use a pallet jack.

A Refurbishment Technician will provide the final refurbishment step for a variety of computer systems. You’ll be judging, repairing, and enhancing the cosmetic qualities of the computer. You’ll accomplish through cleaning the computer with standard solvents, installing vinyl “skins” to it’s exterior, adding quality labels, and packaging the product for final shipment. The Refurbishment Technician’s work is critical to the company’s success as it is the first thing the customer will experience when opening their package. Part-Time Computer Sales & Repair Associate

Blair Technology Group (BTG) is a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) that specializes in the refurbishment and resale of computer equipment. We are located in Latonia, KY, inside the iconic Johnny’s Toys Building. In June 2015, BTG was named the #5 Top Workplace in Cincinnati from Enquirer Media in the small business category. We offer a benefits package for all FULL TIME employees that includes Health Care, Profit Sharing and Paid Vacation.

 

BTG has opened a storefront inside our current location called Tech Castle.  Tech Castle carries computer equipment, electronics and offers an electronics service center.  The store also features the old Johnny's Toys Castle that has been re-opened as the Tech Castle Birthday Club.  Tech Castle is in need of both full and part time sale associates to work inside the store.  Shifts and hours could be flexible with operating hours being Monday - Friday 8am - 7pm and Saturdays 10am - 7pm.  10-20 hours a week with possibility of full time employment as company grows.
